murals

A mural can create a sense of place and interest for a community, and make navigating easier.  Murals are effective in places where previously there has been graffiti. When a community creates and designs a work of art, sculpture, mosaic or mural that is displayed in a public place there is a sense of long term ownership and pride in the work.

Some photos of murals I have worked on for Queensland Rail and Brisbane City Council. The teams painted on murals along the train lines in Brisbane: Bundamba, Yeronga, Coorparoo, Loganlea, Roma St, Woolowin, Woodridge, Dinmore, Darra,  Zillmere and Banyo.

I also created the 70m long mural from stencil designs made by Primary schools, and the entranceway signage painted by Forest Lake High School students.
